The GMG package is one of four solver packages for MODFLOW supported by GMS. The others include the PCG2, SSOR, and SIP packages.
The GMG packag requires the user to enter iteration information similar to the PCG2 solver. In addition to iteration information, the GMG allows for adaptive damping and includes parameters for the multi-grid smoothing.
