With the release of SMS 9.0, project files have begun a renovation moving towards more compact, project data base file. This file is based on the HDF5 format, and is therefore binary, compact and portable. It includes all project settings, as well as data sets not associated with other solution files.
More information will be added to this project file as the conversion to project databases continues.
