The user can create vector data (data that can be viewed as arrows on the screen) by combining two scalar sets. This dialog is accessed from the Data Browser dialog. The two scalars can be either Cartesian components (x and y) or polar components (direction and magnitude).
If the component data sets are transient, a transient vector data set is created when the "use all timesteps" option is selected.
The user supplies a name for the newly created data set and it is added to the same solution set which contains the components.
