Command line arguments in SMS are entered in Window's shortcuts. The options include:
-dm <module> - The default module command is used to specify the module that will be active when starting SMS. For example, to start in the mesh module with RMA2 as the active model, the command line would be:
Usage: sms.exe -dm tabs
Legal options include: tabs, feswms, hivel, rma10, adcirc, cgwave, 2dmesh, ch3d, scat, map, stwave, ghost, m2d, cgrid, hecras, bristars, and unet.
-tmp <file spec> - The temp path command is used to specify the path where temporary files should be saved.
Usage: sms.exe -tmp c:\temp
As an example, to use have SMS open with FESWMS as the active model in Windows 2000:
Right click on an SMS shortcut on the Window's desktop.
In the Target, add "-dm feswms." (i.e. "C:\Program Files\sms\sms80.exe -dm feswms")
Push OK.
