The simulation refers to the current application of the CGWAVE Model. This includes the triangular finite element network, the boundary conditions, and all of the model parameters. A simulation may be read in through the File Menu. A simulation consists of a ".cgi" file which contains the geometry, model control and boundary condition data. CGWAVE may also utilize a data (.cg1) file that includes a series of points extending away from the 2D domain. A one dimensional simulation is propogated down the line defined by these points and distributed around the open boundary of the 2D domain.
SMS can create both of these files and writes them both when the simulation is saved. However, only the ".cgi" file is read in.
The current simulation is cleared out using the Delete Simulation command.
