The Surface-water Modeling System (SMS) is a graphical program that allows engineers and scientists to visualize, manipulate and understand numerical data. Many of the tools in the package are generic in nature, but it is specifically designed to facilitate the creation of numerical models of rivers, lakes, bays, estuaries and coastal zones.
